Hot and Sunny

Angles and the coastal region benefit from an
exceptional micro-climate that gives over 2250
hours of sunshine each year. This is more than
anywhere else along the Atlantic coast.

Even more remarkable is that for more than 225
days each year, the sunshine levels are on a par
with the south-eastern coast of France.

It's no small wonder that the area is known as
La Côte de Lumiére - the coast of light

In under 10 minutes by car, you are on some of the finest beaches in the Vendée where you can enjoy surfing, sailing, jet skis and sand yachting.

The unique location of Jaumont offers you the
choice of the style of beach that you prefer. Those
to the south at La Tranche sur Mer are very calm
as the sands gently slope to the sea, and are ideal
for young and old alike, whilst those to the west at
Longeville are famous for their watersports.
